 About Sarah

Teach In Harmony

Whilst studying at the Guildhall, I began teaching in my spare time and found that I loved it! Upon graduating in 2009, I pursued my career as a flute, violin and piano teacher and have never looked back!

Outside of music...

I love rock climbing and then, baking! I like to be out and about, exploring new places, sampling new cafes and hiking in the countryside with friends and family.

I moved to BC in 2018 and am delighted to have recently been approved for Permanent Residency!

The Future Sounds Good

Additionally, I am a published songwriter and producer, an award-winning singer and composer, a successful choir conductor and a specialist primary school music teacher (UK).

The First Note

I have loved music for as long as I can remember and began to learn the recorder aged 3. I played in various bands and orchestras, often with leading positions throughout primary and secondary school where I gained grade VIII (ABRSM) in both the flute and violin. Aged 16, I attended Chetham’s School of Music for 2 years, where I was awarded my piano diploma with the London College of Music, before studying for my BMus Honours degree at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama
